Lake Nacimiento attracts visitors throughout the whole year for recreational boating and water sports.

Called ‘The Dragon’ from its unique shape, Lake Nacimiento is one of the best boating lakes in the region making it a haven for water sport outdoor adventurers. With miles of waterways, countless inlets and coves, open bays, and a long winding river, boaters have plenty of room to spread out and enjoy:

• waterskiing

• flyboard

• wakeboarding

• wake surfing

• paddle boarding

• tubing

• jet skiing

• other water-related activities

Skiers love the glassy water in the morning and late afternoon. Clean, warm water, the long open ski areas and slalom course are fantastic.

Lake Nacimiento is nearly 200 feet deep at the spillway and maintains an average water temperature of 72 degrees, reaching close to 80 in the summer months.
